Hi Guys and Gals.

Just had 3 weeks in Leeman, what can I say a bit of rain, cool mornings and lovely days with a very gentle sea breeze late in the afternoon.

Didn't take the boat, so was hoping to have a nice fish on the beach, WRONG, north, south full of weed on all beaches.  Some beaches we couldn't get on due to a very high tide, which was for the first 2 weeks, the surge was monsterous, would have hated to try and put the boat on the trailer, in fact it looked dangerous.  Water in close was like mud.  Went to Green Head, took some photos of the weed there, surge was just about going up the full length of the ramp, water looked like it had floaties in it hahahah but must say what a relaxing time, the Caravan Pk was empty so very soothing listening to the birds and most days nothing else.

Will put some photos up of the weed on the beaches in Leeman and Green Head, boy did it smell as well, the seagulls enjoyed the larvae that was being washed from the weed into the water from the big surge.

Town ramp if not cleared by the Council was knee to waist high in weed, Sea rescue ramp the same but it seemed most boaties used that ramp.
