Hey guys just wondering if a 7" spin 15-24kg rod would be ok for balloon from rocks and beach

It will be fine, I prefer slightly longer and have the live fibre 9ft LBG. A bit of length helps keep you away from cliff edges. Off the beach I sometimes use a 14ft assasin as it keeps your line above the shorebreak

Yeah I have the same LBG live fibre rod, just looking for a spin combo to play around with.

Agree with Rig, i like a 10-12ft rod off the rocks. Really let you pull a mack out from under the cliff to get it into a gaffing position. Seen too many good fish lost due to short boat rods off the rocks.

yea i'v got a custom sabre
yea i'v got a custom sabre from blue water and there a wicked rod eh custom butts to you can choose however long you want it and even put a bent one on
