About to replace my trailer's wobble rollers
I have ordered new rollers and stainless split pins and is about to tackle the job this weekend. Am looking for other tips and tricks whilst I'm, doing this.
I will be doing this at the local ramp as it is very quiet there and only 900m from home. And I don't have tyres or suitable lawn to drop the boat off the trailer.
I have all new 28 rollers and new stainless split pins. Not the washers as I reckon I could re-use the old ones.
Questions are;
1. Should I hit the pins and washers with a wire wheel? If so, how hard? Just remove surface stuff or try to get it to shine?
2. Should I grease the pins? With Marine grease?
3. Should I spray cold gal on the pins?
4. Some surface rust on the frame as pictured. Should I just spray cold gal on them? Or INOX? or do they need more attention?
5. The axles and springs have heavy rust on them. Is there anything I should do? Should I smear them with grease, or just INOX, or just leave them be?
Any other suggestions? Thanks!

My thoughts on this.
Since you are going to do this work at the ramp, you won't have that much time on the job.
1. Should I hit the pins and washers with a wire wheel? If so, how hard? Just remove surface stuff or try to get it to shine?
Go to trailer parts and get new gal washers (not zinc plate), don't worry about the pins.
2. Should I grease the pins? With Marine grease?
I wouldn't plastic and rubber can react with petroleum products.
3. Should I spray cold gal on the pins?
The paint will come off when the roller rotates under load.
4. Some surface rust on the frame as pictured. Should I just spray cold gal on them? Or INOX? or do they need more attention?
Have a talk to "Phoenix paints" at O'Conner about this, they specialize in metal treatment paint.
5. The axles and springs have heavy rust on them. Is there anything I should do? Should I smear them with grease, or just INOX, or just leave them be?
Yes, springs bush with waste oil, grease etc, axle if you get paint from Phoenix paint the axle with this.
Just one important point, when you fit the split pins, make sure you bend the tail of the split pin around the shaft. if not the wheel under load can foul the split pin and actuarly straighten the leg of the split pin and it will drop out.
I lost several of my wheels this way.

Cheers iana! I may have to
Cheers iana! I may have to leave the paint part for another day, but will take all your advice. Great tip about the split pin as I did notice some do rub on the rollers.

Cold gal paint
Just if you want to be a bit simpler, rather than spraying cold gal, yes it looks pretty, but is a thin coat and just covers the surface, give the parts a wire brush and then brush on the cold gal in all directions. This tends to wipe the paint under the rust and fill cavities.
Good luck with the job.

It was a bitch to remove
It was a bitch to remove many of the old split pins. Even though they were stainless steel, the holes had shrunk from corrosion and stuff. I pulled/punched/drilled them out whilst swearing profusedlly.
In the end, I got to sleep on the boat overnight, and finished the job the next day.
The brakes were also adjusted so that they actually work now. the cable now only has to pull 10-20mm and the brakes can be felt slowing the whole car down. Previously, the cable pull was 50-70mm before the pads just touched the discs.

Only problem with denso taping
Your springs is it traps the water in and rusts them out quicker
