Also, look at the last pic right at the end of Pelsaert Island (or Long) and the tiny island is Jon Jim island I think. There is the remains of a wreck between the two.
Also on Pelsaert, in the 30's I believe, was a resort which wasnt a raging success. There are pics in our museum of ladies with parasols and huge dresses walking around on the coral
Halfway through reading the book "Batavia" amazing story, I think a lot of people would be surprised at the history of these islands, cant put the book down such a great read.
For posting these great photos, they really do give you a great look at the island and you get a greater appreciation of what we have just of our coast.
