The main points are you need

The main points are you need a esky or live well 25 liters or over to hold 3 fish, you can use an airator other wise change the water regurly,,have some sort of container to change the water.

You will need to wear a PFD type 1,you can use any kayak you like,,no canoes though.

You will need to join the ABT ($50)you get a heap of goodies for your money you can join the morning of the event,it also costs $50 a day to compete,,you can compete for 1 or 2 days its up to you,,the heaviest days bag counts.

The top 3 winners secure a berth to the grand final in Sydney  in May,,Hobie Proangler kayaks with all the fruit will be waiting for you (live wells etc) all you do is fly in fly out.

You can prefish friday 12th feb,,not before that date,,kayakers were told we can only fish the walpole inlet,,we have now been told we can fish anywhere (nornulup etc).

We have competetors coming from Vic and N.S.W that i know of, Scott lovig from team hobie (AFC)should be there,,he fishes with Tim morgan etc

The start is the Rest Pt caravan park,,should be plenty of tent space left,,or cabins at the Coalmine caravan park.

I am going down on friday,,see you there.
