Advice on what quad to buy/ also chasing outboard 50-70hp

Hi I'm looking for an outboard 50-70 for a 4m fibre glass runabout if anyone knows of one for sale. Looking around $2500 - $3500

Also looking at a quad to take along the beach at Yanchep to go fishing. There are some on gumtree that look really good but not sure if they are cheap Chinese imports or not. They have toe balls and winches aswell.  So many on the market now it's hard to tell what's what. Any advice would be appreciated. Something maybe 4x4 with racks and reverse would be the go. I assume you need 4x4 for the beaches along Yanchep to Two Rocks?

the 2013 kawasaki 750s are cheap as and proven for beach and hot work in summer. stay clear of the can ams mate. too many problems with electrical issues w the digital dash. ask daniel, his sits in the shed here and doesnt move cos of the dash stuff up! and i hope your not expecting to come up here with it and poach my spots up north big boy!! locals only up there!!

dans got his barge here for ya to use mate. hes in darwin working so it just sits here on the mooring!

chinese?

between my mate and I we got 9 various size small chinese quads. they were ok, but lots of ongoing mantinence . Bolts are soft, we probably replaced most of them, one did a gearbox, young driver caning it. We had lots of fun with them, did some long bush trips with them by organizing fuel drops at farms along the rout. Costs $12 a year for an of road licence, we rode alongside railway tracks. You get what you pay for. Also they didn't like lead free, we had to use premium fuel or they would kick back on start, and run hot. Tried E10 fuel, left them for 2 weeks and now have to clean the carbys. Just my personal experience.

I agree with vinesh, go the grizzly or a 4x4 Yamaha for the beach.
