AFL preliminary finals

Ok. First up. Which freo supporter, or at least non hawthorn supporter (willing to support freo on the night) wants to come to the game on friday night with me.
I will be be buying two tickets tomorrow morning but my wife has injured her knee and wont be going.
Cost will be whatever the ticket costs me and I'm notsure what that will be until they're purchased. (The qualifying finals were $80 a ticket).
Its a 6.20 game and ill be going straight from work in the city.

cant expect to win a game
cant expect to win a game when you miss easy marks (tabiner for example) or griffin / mayne missing the easy goals.. or suttcliffe and the skinny fumbling and giving hawks a free goal. hawks took their chances and freo didnt. hawks ball skills were cleaner and disposal efficency was better then freo's. even though umpire was shit the better team won

Violence and bad spectator behaviour has overshadowed Fremantle's preliminary final loss to Hawthorn at Domain Stadium.
One fan was ejected for threatening Hawthorn's Issac Smith during the match.
And a video has appeared on social media of a supporter adorned in Dockers jumper allegedly hitting a female spectator, sparking a wild melee.
Domain Stadium security also spoke to another fan who hit Hawk Luke Breust with a blow-up anchor.

You can't blame them, really
All those years of disappointments, laughing stock of the competition for long periods, looking for the quick road to the the top, doesn't happen that way. Towing the blow up anchor into the stadium, looking like a gay mardi gras float, that bloody awful team song, all combines to build the resentment. Getting flogged by the eagles in derbies--they turn that around when the Eagles are down, feel they have salvaged some pride, but the trophy cabinet is empty. And still would be, if the Eagles hadn't had that unforgiveable draw with GC. Or would the approach to the Port Adelaide game have been different if the minor poremiership wasn't secure? We'll never know. The venom started flowing from freo towards the Eagles after a few years, not reciprocated, we really didn't care. What about that stupid little dockers girl who penned and performed that "we hate you eagles" song, got a lot of support within the club--WTF? hate all sems to be one way. We just don't care.
To sum it up--you can win all the derbies you like, and the rest of the national competition JUST DOESN'T CARE. The West Coast Eagles are the team who blazed the way in the new national comp, the ones who had the Vics crying in their beer and howling about the unfairness of it all when we took "their" beloved cup west for the first time. We gave the whole state of WA pride. Dockers fans can skite all they like about derbies, but don't bother talking to me until you win a flag. Or three. (Or maybe even four, I can dare to dream now.)

but the cupboard is still bare
next year is critical to their window of opportunity not sure he will hang around to rebuild, oh well guess its up to the eagles tonight to hopefully restore some Pride
