booked matt Rowell in for Rookie and also to score big in brownlow. Now with a PCL knee injury, poor unlucky bugger will be out for some time. For a future superstar cant cop a lucky break.

Lol, you crack me up Boon
Hawks to win the flag from 6th on the ladder eh? They just got over the line against the Bombers, but I guess anything is possible. We won't mention the former junkyard dog, who's fall from grace has been rather sad .
I wouldn't be too upset with 4th at the end of the home and away rounds. I just hope the Eagles get their best 22 on the ground and have a red hot crack at it this year (plus they give the poor relations down the road a good hiding this year).
Look forward to some good banter this year, with Frosty stirring the pot and the Collingwood, Freo faithful taking the bait as they always do ha ha ha!

Good morning
Good morning gentleman...
Well she's an interesting one this year!!
Very happy with where Makybe Diva is placed ( Hawthorn ) on the fence 1 back coming around the first turn...
Freo ( dare i say it ) should wallop the floundering Eagles this week and then send them over to the MCG to have the last of their feathers plucked out by the Hawks as they continue their march towards stardom....
If we talking draft picks I think Eagles could have had Grundy with P18 but ended up with wellingham - Hindsight is a wonderful thing and looking back on previous draft picks is something Fremantle supporters dont enjoy doing....
Good to see the banter is still long and strong here, i've just come back from an epic two tinny camping mission at Cape Arid East of Esperance...
I'm now on a liver support machine and i'm typing with my tongue that now wont go back in my mouth properly...
Hey, Did anyone hear about the two poofs stuck in a phone booth?
They were ringing each other....

If your boys were ever going to break the hoodoo it'll be this Sunday.
I don't think Simpson will over react and drop a bunch of players but may bring in Hutch to run with Mundy or Brayshaw and Bailey Williams in for Vardy.
I watched the WAFL game against my Swannies last weekend and there is not much to like coming through. That fucken Ainsworth accumulates 34 touches of nothing... if he was a flavour of icecream he'd be greek yoghurt.

Fremantle seem to be in better form atm
Though they haven't beaten any teams of note I believe. Hurn and Kennedy are good ins, but I wonder how much the thumping by Geelong will have dented the teams confidence. Been 6 years since we lost to Fremantle, so maybe the run is over? Start sticking some tackles will be a good start and put the body into the contest would be good too.
Collingwood certainly need a win, or it's season over for them, so some pressure on Buckley, though he should be used to it.

Freo are on a good run but
Freo are on a good run but only played meagre teams including west coast this coming weekend but winning form is good form.
Would love to see Mundy continue his run of form and give the Brownlow a nudge, bit like when Richo was in the running a few years back.
Never saw the thumping handed out to west coast by Geelong coming but that's the unpredictability of the last two seasons.

It's actually been the best
It's actually been the best season I can remember for a few years now (injuries aside) where we have a couple of teams flying early but a massive logjam from 3 to 17 where you feel you could lose to any of those teams on a given day.
Been pretty dissapointing the way West Coast can't put more than two quarters together but we have former and current AA players out including Shuey, Yeo, Kennedy, McLovin, Hurn and Ryan. Our problem is that we have absolutely no depth and guys like Gaff, Kelly, Shepherd, Barras, Darling and Sheed are not assuming that onfield leadership role. LDugg should have been made the stand in Captain as he at least leads by example.

Do you think Kelly was a good
Do you think Kelly was a good trade Frosty ? Having to give up so much to Geelong takes those prized picks away and to an extent depth with new players that would have come. Look at the crap freo did with Hogan, mind boggling.
You could flip a coin and say Kelly was the piece to bring a cup and I get that as well and at the end of the day its all about cups.
I like watching Freo at the moment because their kids do not know any better and are a blank canvas.
Do I think Freo will finish higher than West Coast ? haha, maybe not, but im looking forward to a good game no matter who is out.

I said at the time that Kelly
I said at the time that Kelly was Geelong's fourth midfielder who got off the chain and was a cherry on top player and not someone you would build a midfield around and Boon ripped into me calling me a delusional Eagles supporter. I have seen nothing to indicate my assessment at the time was anything less than accurate and he's still only a fourth string mid at West Coast behind Shuey, Sheed and Yeo who with our injuries has proven cannot have a midfield built around him when others go down... I'd still have taken Guthrie, Danger/Menagola or Duncan over Kelly.
Once we get a few players back... Shuey, Yeo, Flying, McLoving, Hurn, Rioli and Kennedy I hope we'll make a late run home and above Freo but with our shit percentage, top 4 is looking like a fantasy and we'll just be alsorans. Our best is sublime but our worst is putrid.

I think you've summed it up well there Frosty. Kelly is a good player but was made to look even better because teams would focus on Geelong's other mids. I still think he'll be a good player for us but not enough for what it cost.

Witherden seems to get a bit of the ball too, though I believe he needs to work on his efficiency. Oscar Allen is developing well and is good at both ends of the ground. Not sure about Langdon, though he may take time to fit in. Rotham seems to be pretty effective and Jones was very good today.
Gives us some hope for the future.
