Not the smartest move.
However.
Like it or not God created pot......
One phone call to a doctor in Brisbane will get you a prescription for legal greenery and oils these days and it will arrive in the mail with all of the correct paperwork. It's not like the young man had his undies full of green Mitsubishi's. Now that would have been almost newsworthy.

Don't do it Willi
Absolutely love the way the guy plays but I don't know which is worse. Using Gatorade to try and pass a urine test, or after all you've been through trying to bring back nearly an ounce in your pants through an airport FFS.

Good old king willy coke
Good old king willy coke bottle at it again, dead set waste of space that does not deserve the pathetic mantra of West Coast "we'll wrap our arms around him" again.
West Coast will never loose the perception of a drug culture.
An absolute shame for his team mates and another distraction in a year where they are genuine contenders when fit.
No doubt this will be handled in the same fashion as just another drug incident for West Coast.

I think the club needs to
I think the club needs to look after him in terms of making sure he's okay, but at the same time penalise him for fucking up so badly. It's like if one of my kids fucked up big time I'd want to protect them as best I could externally and then deal with them myself. Just my thoughts.
And yes the drug culture label is here to stay.

With a start not far away I
With a start not far away I guess he was bringing down some medicine to see through his pre-season.
Thats a sad brain fade after everything he's been through....had he put it in his check-in luggage he would have been fine!

I tipped Brisbane too
Melbourne looking very hard to beat this year it seems.
I have changed my tip for Eagles vs Carlton. Eagles have too many players out through injury and last week's poor effort sent their season down the drain. Not very loyal of me I know .

I tipped Carlton originally
I tipped Carlton originally but chnaged it to the Eagles on Sunday morning. I just remember some past games when we had a lot of top players out and we managed a win. Glad I changed it!

I shouldn't have followed Denis Cometti's tipping. I'll just go and give myself a good uppercut now .

Listened to most of it
Listened to most of it unfold today on SEN, The club and Bucks seemed to handle things pretty well....
The bloke has been at the Pies for 27 years, 400+ games as player and coach, he deserves a bit of cred...
Assistant to fuckwit Malthouse in 2010 GF, If it wasn't for some unbelievable footy by the Eagles capped off with a pretty bullshit shot for goal by sheed he also would have been a premiership coach in 2018....
Was always a shame seeing him go down with Hammys late in his career, for me he was like a Ben Cousins type of player, long runs a bounce or two and long range goals.... Awsome to watch...
I always thought he was a good bloke and seemed to have the players on his side.... The whole Treloar thing somewhat tarnished that but he's not in charge of player contracts but becomes the focal point when shit goes down like any AFL coach....
I'm not a fan of coaches getting sacked, there are some good examples currently who were on the chopping block but rectified their careers. Its not often the moving on of a coach to bring another in works..... Well not in the short term....
Hardwick was in strife, Goodwin was cooked.... Bucks wont get that chance now but good luck to him whatever he does...
My guess is Sam Mitchell will coach the Pies next year under the watchful eye of Graham Wright....

Agree with what you've said
Agree with what you've said Boon. I liked Bucks as a player, seesm like a decent bloke and as an Eagles fan, he was unlucky not to be a premiership coach in 2018 (although we worked bloody hard to get back into the game!).
Sam Mitchell would be interesting. Got a mate at the Eagles who hardly has a bad word to say about anybody at the club (Cuz and Kerr were two exceptions) and he bagged him as a bloke. Same for a mate (Hawks fan) who knew him socially and got invited to his bucks in Melbourne which surprised him big time. Seems no-one really wanted to go!
