I'm hoping to releif some of the scrotum pressure from the "grandy" forum.
So where to start, foolish freo?
Why oh why would they allow Neale to go?
Hogan he's good but not that good.
Lobb to Eagles is an interesting move, i guess to replace Jk. Tim Kelly, they wouldnt want to pay too much for the first year player.
Gaff to Nth, that will be announced post the BF night.
Hawthorn - The Jugganaught just keeps on going forward, Scrimshaw, Shiel Amon and potentially Wingard. Just wow.
The Tigers are going to be too top heavy with TLynch coming in.

I think you're being a bit critical of Hogan, for a 23 year old key forward he's lookig very good.
As an Eagles fan I'm more lining up the potential of Tim English, he's going to be amazing once he gets a bit of size and strength.
Conca to Freo is pretty close to a done deal, Lobb, English, Hogan and Kelly all trying to get home, it's a good time to be a West Aus club IMO.

TK a great asset.
IF WC are going to lose Gaff, and it sure looks more and more possible, then Tim Kelly would be a great acquisition to any midfield. I certainly hope we could manage to pick him up. Not sure about Lobb, but he has plenty of more years for a big key player.
Freo may get lucky picking up some good quality players wanting to come home.
I agree with Spanner all the way, especially Tim English.
Hogan wouldn't fit WC for a few years ?
Patrick Cripps was on my wish list but never thought that possible. Shame. What a contested brute he is. If he starts kicking some more goals he is a shoe in for a "Charlie"

I read last light that Freo have offered Tom Langdon $600k per year. He and Fyfe can help each other fix up their man buns when they come undone on-field.
English would be a great get and would set us up in the middle for years with Lycett leaving and NicNat a liability going forward. Awesome unexpected news.
West Coast need to play hardball with Gaff and force NM to trade by matching the offer. Pick 19 isn't adequate compensation for a 2x All Australian.
We also need to cool our jets on Kelly and not pay overs, he's already at his ceiling and was surrounded by Ablett, Danger, Selwoods, Guthrie, Menagola and Duncan.

I think Freo should concentrate more on a decent coach than losing or trading some of their up and coming stars.
Thay are a young group with a lot of potential and should get a coach that can capitalise on it instead of coming up with weekly excuses under the guise of "rebuilding".

Very different set of circumstances leading up to a whole bunch of media blow-up. I certainly wasn't one of those calling for that solution. Buckley has a whole set of credentials that make him the right man for the job at Collingwood. I'm not really sure what Lyon's credentials are....
It's easy to call for the head of the Coach when a team is going through a rough trot, but for me this isn't a response to the last couple of years. He has had an extended crack at the job and not achieved.

Might end up been something convuluted with other clubs involved to get the deal done. Dont want to see the kitchen sink thrown at him though

Heard from a very good source a few weeks back that Eagles were going to match Norths offer for Gaff to force them to trade pick 10 and Majak Daw for him, however recently they have promised pick 10 to go to Port for Polec so there goes that plan out the window... Apart from pick 10 North has nothing to bargain for so I doubt you will see the Eagles match the offer, instead they will get pick 20 for gaff and 21 for Lycett (As compo) and one of those plus a later 2nd or 3rd round pick will go to Geelong for Tim Kelly. Rory Lobb wont come over west this year but will after his contract is up. Ive heard we are going to get Tom Hickey and The ex docker Clarke as backups for our ruck.
Tim Kelly is good but I don't think he has the wheels that gaff had.

Be interesting to see what we do with Partington because he's fallen even further down the pecking order this season but can clearly play based on his WAFL numbers. Being a South Australian it would be worth matching Lycett's offer of $600k and packaging up Lycett and Parto for their incoming pick 10. Athletic Premiership ruckmen just hitting their prime don't grow on trees and Port need outside runners.
Guess we find out tonight or tomorrow morning what's happening with Gaff. I really hope he's staying on but consigned to him leaving.
