Air Bag Suspension

New car time for me. Another Hilux. I'm toying with getting airbag suspension on this one.

does anyone have any rough prices, and/or recommended brands and installers? I know from memory it was more exensive than a standard suspension upgrade.

Work out your weights and do

Work out your weights and do the springs and shocks. Don't get sucked in by the remote res stuff. Keep it simple. Airbags can be a pain in the arse if they develop a slight leak. Wouldn't use them on leaf spring rear ends.

Expanding on this, i got Driveline suspension and it is called comfort ride. I got constant 400kg in my Ranger. the springs are expanded at the top end so it is comfortable when empty but can take a fair bit of weight when she is loaded up.

Airbags

Thanks Andy airbags are great if ya not overloaded continuously ie canopy draws long range tanks loaded all the time.

they work great if you don't want to change the height to much unloaded and used for levelly.if your heavy permantley then the better option would be a spring and shock upgrade.

Doing the springs and shocks on the rear if not heavy you will sacrifice height and ride quality when unladened.
