Talk about the early bird...... and just as well . The plan was to meet up with Sherbs at 3.45am, so we could set up with a bit of spare time to get the casting shoulders limbered up before the Tailor woke at first light. Nothing ever goes how you expect.
First bait in the water smashed within seconds. Then the second ..... and third...... After a very busy hour the buckets were looking pretty full, so Sherbs decides to launch out with the lures. Again, first cast smashed. He had a ball, hooking plenty, but unfortunately not landing any.
What a great way to start the day.
As we were wandering off, Uncle Stu turned up & twisted Sherbs arm (yer-right) to stay. Their probably still at it :)

good little session there,
good little session there, we fished trigg this morning and had 3 tarwhine biggest was 45cm and 6 herring and one tailor.

My great tailor spot was taken over by two early birds ,JODY AND SAM C beat me to it
And got there at 3.30am
It started a bit slow, so i went from bottom fishing becouse of so much weed to driffbaiting
And within 5 cast i was on to a nice tailor I pick up another good sizes tailor not long after.
The fish went off the bite so i get a spinner out ,And i got hits right way but i did not land any
In the end sam got 2 ----jody got 3 ----and i got 2
