Andamon & Nicobar Islands

Well my trip to the Burma banks has been changed to the Nicobar and Andamon Islands.Due to the fact that there has been a lot of dynamite being used by the locals so has anyone fished these Islands before going to be targeting sails, black marlin, wahoo, spanyards as well as the local bottom species have been told they even have barramundi there any tips would be great. Will be taking all my own gear as well as a few components that I pick up from from a four day stay in HK after all have to stop in a see the nieces and the sister who is funding the trip.
14 days fishing from a 38 foot powercat but staying on a 90 foot mothership. Will be the fishing trip of a lifetime.I leave December the 15.Taking the camera to get some memorable photo's 99% of the fish will be released but will have to sample a couple of the locals as well.

Any suggestions on terminal and locations would be great if you have known of somone who has fished these locations

So far its two trolling outfits
              two spinning out fits
              two bottom bouncing outfits

Make sure your skipper has all the paperwork in place for everyone on board and for each craft and have copies of everything.  The Indians are very protective of Adaman Islands.  Make sure you inform some folks where you intend to be.  A solid float plan in the country and port of departure is recommended.  I take it you will depart Puket.

If you are tempted to go ashore, make sure you have heaps of mossie repellent.

Bring popping gear and heaps of poppers if you guys are close in, but check the fishing restrictions! Think that they now have restrictions on boat fishing within 2 miles of land.

Bottom fishing will almost be a hookup with every drop.

All the species that you intend to target will be there.

Did I mention that you should have all your paper work in orther? I am serious.

Note you will require your passports to be stamped before landing on Adaman or Nicobar if your port of departure is not on Indian soil.
