I heard an interview with a marine biologist about all the dead whales, and he said that people are freakin about it, but it's just a sign that the population is growing.  Basically, his point was that seeing more dead whales is positive.

of course, more whales naturally means more sharks to follow them...

I would not think the whales find its a positive to show their increasing numbers if there dying. But there was also one south of Centuare marker Sunday (yesterday). How many this Year,or to be precise the past 6 months,1 Exmouth 1 Wilson Bay Rottnest, 1 Floreate Beach,1Eglington Rocks,(maybe the Burns one) 1 Sorrento Beach Near Hillarys, can any one else add to the list? No wonder the price of Shark Shields has gone up.jersey

Took the rescue boat out for a training exercise and for a squizzy at one that came in Tegg's channel and now is nearly high and dry south west of the Carnarvon race course/golf club.
Couldn't get close enough for good shots or to see if any sharks
