Due to the wet and cold weather the South West has had (and is still having), we decided to load up the car and boat and have the first week of the school holidays in Exmouth... The weather the whole time was between 28 - 34, and although the wind was up at times, we managed to get out at Tantabiddi a couple of times, and the Bay of Rest when the wind was blowing. The rest of the time we mucked around on the gulf beaches, swam in the caravan park pool, explored the west side, etc.
On the fishing side of things, I speared a few Tuskies and Trout in the gulf, and we caught some good Rankin, Spangleds, etc on the west side, but sharks and possibly big cod were a problem. I lost 2 lures with good Macks attached due to the sharks, before managing to land one.
