Antifoul

 Has anybody heard about putting roundup in their paint to boost the antifoul ,would like to get your opinions,i also wonder about the legality of this.Cant find anything on roundup label about antifoulling.

dont bother, firstly it might not be illegal (unsure) but probably not the best thing for the environment and secondly it will disolve as soon as it makes contact with the water (ie as the antifoul breaks down)so its effect is unlikley to last - guy a few boats down from me has tried it all -including something he shouldnt have - unsure if he was fined or not but CALM were pretty p1 ssed with him
Propspeed is the best thing for shafts, p brackets and props - its a bit expensive but lasts and is well worth it, slightest bit of growth on your props knocks rpm
The best cure is use (of boat) and i bet we all wish we could get out a little more :-)
