Hi all. I've picked up another boat on Thursday Island and it's got a Garmin plotter/sounder full of marks and tracks ( excellent for a newbie to town....:) I was wondering how I can copy the current information to the C-MAP card or sd card and install it onto a new Simrad plotter I've got for the boat?.Your input is appreciated. See photo attached of new potential fish slaying device.

Here you go mate, from the
Here you go mate, from the Hull truth
No computer programs required.
1. Save your waypoints to a card from your Garmin to an SD (micro card for my Go7) in GPX format. Garmin gives the option of two file types.
2. Load the card into your Simrad unit.
3. Find the Sd card in the "files" section.
4. Drill down the file menu to GARMIN user data.
5. Select import.

Thanks Andy
Quite a capable boat. Took it for a sea trial on Sunday in some very ordinary conditions, it's a good bus. Doesn't ride as well as my cat but hey.......:)
