Albany Report - Salmon

Sat, 2009-01-24 18:58

Spent 3 hours at Salmon Holes this morning. Managed to land 2 Mulies in the surf while spending copious amounts of patient time teaching the missus how to cast her new pink outfit (without hooks of course).

Despite a fine effort guys, no Salmon to report down here.....Cry

give it another month or so, late Feb or early March and they are expecting a good run of salmon through. Supposed to be a good run this year by all reports??

Col and Stu - **Stop Salmon Press**

Just read one of the local papers chaps:

'An estimatted 4 tonne school of 2-3Kg salmon was spotted off Lowlands late last week and there are reports of schools hanging around Bremer Bay.'

So looks like February could well be the go guys.
