Any spraypainters looking for work?

Hi guys
I have a 1980 short wheel base hilux project which is at the respray stage -
To give you and idea of the condition -
*the previous owner has sprayed with repco/supercheap cans and lets just say was not great at masking
*car is fairly straight with only a handful of small pressure dents which I would want faired prior to painting
* rust - there is non showing - however there is previous rust repairs on the passenger side roof (where the turret meets) and roof rails (both sides) and bottom of the windscreen on passenger side and in the tub at the factory join behind the cab - to be expected for a 39 year old car
*I have removed all trims etc

Criteria-
I am looking for someone to respray it, outside only - (inside of tub does not need paint) - same colour, does not need to be show quality but don't want it to be slapped on either - no real rush but don't want it to take a year either :-)
Happy to pay cash and would be interested to know indicative $$ amount (pm me if of interest)

Pic of car below :-)

cheers

You are right mate -
This was a 2 owner vehicle and is completely original down to
The am radio- this is a short wheel base and from what I can establish there was only a handful brought in by Toyota in 1980- facts aside it is possibly the most uncomfortable car
I have ever been in !

 Russ... I can 100% confirm

 Russ...

I can 100% confirm they did NOT go everywhere. In fact quite the opposite!

Heavy and underpowered but most were back in the day.

If you want a car that WOULD go anywhere in comparison a SWB Patrol was a pretty bullshit 4wd on soft beaches.

The first hiluxs that were noteworthy were the 2.2ltr petrol limited slip dif models.

I have done some serious hill climbing, beach work in one of those. Actually some of the biggest jumps I've done was also in that Ute, how we didn't bend the difs I'll never know.

Good luck pelagic, should be a fun project.

Not many of them left around

Not many of them left around unmolested. Plenty ended up with v6 and 253 conversions.
