hi, is there any one got experience on order part from Shimano service centre ? by phone ?
wana to order small screw for my spinning reel, and tried to call shimano centre this morning, and the staff named Lois, grabed my part number, address, and credit card number and expiry date. Then, he said he may not be able talking to me now, then leave.
So is that all the infor he got, and will process the order to me ?

http://www.shimanofish.com.au/publish/content/global_fish/en/au/index/contact_us.html , click on this and fill out the form stating parts order along with reel part info & number, Address and card details and ask for them to send it express ($5). It should come through going on the above info but this way is heaps easier.
Cheers, Daisy

Yep, just the card no and
Yep, just the card no and expiry is fine, if you give them the reel model, part name and part no and they have the part you'll get it wthin a week but if they have to get it from elsewhere it can take considerably longer, for bearings I measure them ID, OD and thickness and order from VXB.

I have
Just got some bits in for my tld30 rebuild from them. Bit of a pain in the arse chasing them up as they sent the wrong bit and didnt reply to emails. Went thru the same process as you Terry. Got the bearings elsewhere. Shimano wants $18 per bearing!
