Anybody recommend an A/C split system installer

Need a few units installed that arent straight up simple jobs so need someone that provides a bit of quality and spec up the sizes I need

For gods sake avoid ford and doonan, going off my exper a few years back
too longer story to go into , but needless to say poor aftersales backing up a poor
install, like they say 1 disgruntled customer tells 20.

I checked them out very carefully and was pretty impressed with the price, personal service and attention to detail - which got them the job, so I hope it continues.

Wasnt osb park branch , if that helps dizzy, if you checked them out and it goes sweet
then all good.
These things happen, my daughter , a very neat , and careful girl, is on her 4th iphone in 8 months ( warranty)
she keeps them in rubber shock proof cases, never lets anyone play with it , they just keep failing ( speakers, static, no power, not charging etc)
she has friends still with there first one 18 months later?
The Williams,s do seem a bloody unlucky lot, oh well , back to vodaphone!

The mob I'm dealing with we're the only ones that gave any decent thought to outdoor unit locations, and pipe work etc.
The franchise owner actually said he wouldn't put their name to the install if he couldn't make it neat and hide the pipes in the cavities etc, which suited me fine considering there's 5 outdoor units going on our house alone (including 3 multi heads)
I'll be keeping an eye on the install work and slack-ass contractors, but everything has been very promising so far.
Unlike the rest of the building process which gets me fired up just thinking about it.
What a bunch of sharks - I feel sorry for anyone who's not on the ball watching and checking everything their builder is doing. I've found so many f-ups and rip offs it's unbelievable.
I know there will be exceptions - and we thought we were on to one but were just f-ing fed everything we wanted to hear until we signed up.
Better stop there or I'll rant for pages.

if pre piping in cavity
if pre piping in cavity demand pvc to be put in the cavity(run pipes inside the pvc) so the insulation does not get torn , might be a bit late , but this will ensure the pipes dont sweat/freeze up and the machine runs properly.

Dizzy just out of interest who did you build with? Being in the industry I know exactly how many of them can be sharks.

I'm all over them like a rash, so no problem there - just shits me that it has to be that way.
If I knew there'd be this much extra stress and work I'd have built the f-ing houses myself !
Unfortunately I'm flat out running my own business, so the time isn't there.
I don't even want to think about the stuff I may have missed.
In the end I'll cost them more than they'll ever cost me, a bad rep goes a long way.
Anyways, sorry for hijacking the OP's thread - back to talking about AC installers ! :)
