Plenty around. We bagged out
Plenty around. We bagged out on them in the 30s out from hillarys pretty quickly last week. Plenty around as soon as you cross the 3mile.

I usually go west of hillarys and out through the gap in the
reef there. Will start pulling lures from there then. What lures did you find did the damage? deep divers / skirts or the good old 40g halco twisty?

I run a deep diver one side
I run a deep diver one side a shallow runner other side a bit further back and a small skirt shotgun way back. When one goes off keep driving, the school stays together so you'll get a double or triple. They will follow hooked fish to the boat so you can usually temp stragglers if you have a spare rod. Don't rely on birds or surface action to give them away either, any tiny amount of bait down low is worth a loop over. I pulled out the bream gear last time and it was great fun.

we have picked up a few over
we have picked up a few over last 2 months, 2-4 kg and the majority on skirts, we trolled in the 25-30m mark from parkers to west end, got most around parkers - trolling 6-7knots and had the skirts out quite far
good luck - we wont be out for a few months :-(

Have been out the past few
Have been out the past few weekends from Hillarys, usually head north past 3 mile into the 30's.
Prior weekend got 4, but no baitballs so just random fish I think.
Last weekend went south and got zip.
Exclusively use Skirts as much less chance of weed, which was shocking in <25mtrs last weekend.
If the weather holds I'll go tomorrow for another look and burn some fuel.

We often get some nice YTK's
We often get some nice YTK's of West End. I haven't fished there since autumn but they are pretty much always around. SBT's are like the posts above said - there are where you find them! We have caught them anywhere from 40m+ into about 12m straight out from the gap at Hillarys.
