Anyone interested in buying in some FCl Labo SL jigs?

Colours shown; Silver/Pink, Silver/Blue, Silver. There is also another colour called horse mack, its got a yellowish cast to it where the others are coloured, silver everwhere else.

They're available in 180g ($32), 230g ($38), 270g ($38) & 320g ($44) sizes. Shipping is in the order of $50 for 6 jigs, and they quote delivery as being a week.

Apparently they're very popular for Tuna in the US. Anyone interested in getting a few in?

Other dealers have them in

Sun, 2010-04-25 13:40

Other dealers have them in 120g, 150 & 340g but they are a lot more expensive. If I get a lot of interest I may be able to get another dealer to pricematch.

Interesting

Aren't the connection eyes at each end of the jig at 90 degrees to most other jigs.  Just looks different.  I wonder if there is a reason?

Unsure if it would make much

Unsure if it would make much difference Alan, but well spotted.

Users say they have a good flutter, but with the fairly fine profile at the front, aren't a lot of work to work.

Difference?

Sun, 2010-04-25 19:10

I'm with you Till in that I don't think it would have any significant difference however we now have jigging hooks with the eyes at 90 degrees to the "norm" as well.  Jimicky ..... ??

Maybe the above mentioned hooks are for use with the Andaman Jigs.  Wink

I agree from what I have read that these jigs do have a good reputation.

I do use those inline eye

Sun, 2010-04-25 19:23

I do use those inline eye hooks, but really only for singles as a replacement for trebles. Means you don;t have to double splitring the hooks to have them face the right way.

I use the Decoy Plugging Single in smaller sizes, Decoy Sergeant for largers ones or that Owner one, I forget =)

Fingers crossed we get a bit of interest in the jigs =)

They land Monday arvo, I guess the guy will drop them around soon after. I had hoped he would have FCl Labo too, but he didn't so I gotta look a little further afield.
