Anything bitting this time of the year around Bunkers Bay?

Hi All

Looking at throwing a line in at Bunkers Bay or around there any way.

 

I have alwats seen small whiting floating about. Anything else I can be chasing?

 

Is there any abolony close to the shore?

 Usually salmon floating around but not looking good this year, but like you said always whiting, flathead and herring. For the Ab's head to the the north of Bunkers and there are plently just have to watch the swell.

Did you mean the east side of bunkers back towards eagle bay or the west side towards the light house?

the west side towards Cape Nat. Usually a few Ab's and cray around those reefs.

You'll go straight out to sea if you go Nth

most crew get a little disorientated around the Cape area, especially when it's blowing a E'ly at Bunkers and a SW'ly at Sugarloaf. It's a strange little stretch of coast.
