assist cord

for those that tie there own assist hooks what pound cord do you use for general demersal stuff?
I was thing 200lb for jigs up to say 150 gram and varying hook sizes to suit?
Thought /opinions?

Hey Jayden20,
For all my demersal jigs in the 80-180g range i use size 15 which is just under 200lb i think. As for hooks i use either Decoy Cutlass/Pike in 2/0 or 3/0 depending on jig size.
