Azusa rods
I have the same problem, I talked to the guys at Blue Water in Morley a few weeks ago and they said they were the best thing out since sliced bread. Then i talked to the chief at MO Tackle and he said he has been a friend of Yoshi (guy who sells or makes them) for a long time, and then goes on to say that they are rubbish and warned me against buying them.
So i also would like to hear from anyone who has used them.

Azusa rods
Heh, he can't be much of a friend given that Yoshi won't sell him his rods. Which is obviously why he has to rubbish them.
Yoshi designed rods for Daiwa for 37 years before striking out on his own. He knows what he's doing. His Azusas were the first 'factory' rods in Australia to carry Fuji K guides (and you'll hardly see a rod without them in another five years); the first 'factory' rods to use the shrink-wrap-over-cork grips that were previously the domain of the custom rod makers; and the first 'factory' rods in Australia to use Fuji's two-piece reel seats on the CFB range, something that once again only custom rods and top end Japanese rods ever saw.
See www.azusa.com.au for more. Not much point in me telling you what they're like, as I could be seen to be biased. But I have used several models and they're indisputably damn good value. The fact that more than half the staff now each own at least one themselves says a lot, IMHO.

Had purchased one half way through last year seemed really nice till my first jig hit the bottom in 100meters and started jigging it up to find the reel seat hadn't been glued that maybe just a one off but seem reasonably good. Mind you it aint no JIGREX

No it doesn't just the fact that brand new not even used and no glue in the seat at all. All i was putting out there was my experience with the azusa.

T Curve
I had a 3-6kg T Curve Flight baitcaster with a 300 Luna on it. While fighting a fish the reel seat shit itself nearly
lost my reel (it ended up in the drink)but all good. Between me and my other half we have 4 other T Curves all great
rods but have not even thought about buying another one since.I guess once bitten twice shy.I do own an Azusa now
hopefully they live up to the standard that the retailers have said .

boozy, I think you have your wires crossed - I was the first person to get sample Azusas, at the end of July last year, and they subsequently went back to Yoshi in August; and the first production rods became available in maybe November - so whatever you bought "half way through last year", it wasn't an Azusa.
edit - we're crossing posts - guess so but I never heard about it as a warranty.

Yeah i tried his shop as i live about two minutes away from it. Unfortunately no one in his shop has ever even heard of them, and were not to keen to find out about them either. I will be back in Perth in April so i might get one back there.
