Augusta Crabs

Guys
I'm heading to Molloy Island for the long weekend and was thinking of doing a little crabbing with the kids in a tinny. Anyone got any advice of where to find some crab as I have never been down there. Do you go close to the mouth or are they a long way up river?
Any info appreciated

Straight out from the caravan
Straight out from the caravan park in town is worth a try. Anywhere around that area. I have seen a few caught in front of Molloy as well.
Heard mixed reports of late, two weeks ago a friend bag out in one run but yesterday mates only got two.

got back today from turners
got back today from turners caravan park in augusta and there were thousands of crabs there, either dropping nets in the deep channel or scooping up on that bank that runs up to the mouth(did very well scooping with getting 15 crabs on average in a hours work every time). we were catching them on rods daily aswell!!
still plenty of crabs just undersize there though..few more weeks
