The ones at BCF appear to be as good and any others and are pretty well priced especially when they have their 20% sales...pretty sure there is a sale on today. All brands have to meet Aussie standards anyway I believe? Just be carefully cause there are offshore, insure and waterski versions...

Slim, cheap and a respected brand in the offshore world.

I have a couple of Crewsaver ones, manual inflate, but they were and $79 each. Very comfortable.

Crewsaver

Sun, 2016-11-27 09:55

My wife bought me one from BCF (Marlin brand??) as a birthday present and I thought it was too bulky.  I got a refund and bought a Crewsaver auto-inflating version.  It is significantly slimmer in design.  I often fish solo and strongly recommend the auto-inflate version.  If you are thrown out of your boat and are unconscious, disoriented or panic - or if you have children on board and your first priority is to assist them when you all unexpectedly end up in the water - auto-inflate could be a lifesaver.
