auto sparky on FW
Hi guys
Havent posted or commented much been viewing posts though. i have managed to get into a pickle with my car my father in law and i have checked everything fuses relays wiring the plug!! etc etc but can't seem to find the problem, anyway the problem is i have lost one headlight d/s it glows but that is it, the p/s is perfect i have put new globes in thinking that the globe had blown but that wasn't the problem, so im putting it up on here if there is any auto sparkys that could help me out possibly come round and show me or help try fix it, it is driving me mad, please pm if you know of anyone or yourselves etc who could help me please i would hate to get a sticker for this as it would ruin alot.

Sounds like volt drop, bad connection somewhere, probably a bad earth. Is it dull on high beam too?

Connections mate, checkem
Connections mate, checkem all. No black connectors/terminals at back of globe? Pull each wire too, a crook one will just break off. Check earth connections, they could be anywhere tho, what car is it? Could just run a new earth to the globe

landcruiser mate dual cab no black connectors at back of plug i even thought about that today possibly running a new wire from the other side and conecting them together not sure the h4 connector is fine contact spray worked either that or it is inside the plug itself

Try your local auto sparky cell and support local businesses instead of scamming a free fix from fw members. Remember me? The bloke who felt sorry for you when your gear was apparently flogged and gave you a rod for free and then caught you out selling it for a profit?

Headlamp fault
Sounds to me like it could be the contacts in the combination switch as they switch the earth between high and low beam each headlamp has its own contacts if you drop the steering shrouds you can get access to the contacts to clean them with a bit of fine wet & dry paper.

im nt going to lie about everything how much of an ass can you be like i sent you a text mate i was offered a deal and in order to get that deal i had to sell a couple things, i was grateful for what everyone on fw did for me, as for my car im not trying to get a free fix so use your bald ass head and think before you speak. i am not out here to scam no one and if you want to be like that sure go right ahead, im sure you would do the same thing to better your gear, get over yourself mate.
