Awesome Australia Day out in the tinny

Went for a bit of a Macky troll out of Hillarys on Sunday, no luck with them but headed out a bit further and found some tuna instead, awesome fun seeing them smash the plastics on the surface, kept one each then decided to slowly head back in dropping plastics on the way on good looking ground, picked up a nice size cuttlefish moved spots and hooked my first Dhu on a 4" gulp. Pretty much all the tuna schools we saw were in 15-20 meters and the dhu was in around 10

Bloody beauty, I love frsh tuna. I drove 9.5 miles out Saturday and didn’t see a single bird the whole way then as soon as the sea anchor went out and lines were down there was a bust up a few hundred metres away then not another bird the whole trip back in.

How i would love to do that -  catching the pelagics on light gears on the shallows! Too bad there aren't any charters doing this sort of shallow water fishing.
