hes a cunt that guy
Leon Deschamps... the voice behind every whinge you'll ever hear from shark bay. Im certain the authoroties are dead sick of hearing from him. if there is one person I could remove from this planet, it would no doubt be him.
My bet is the fisheries are NOT behind him, he is just saying that. I dont know (or know of) ANYONE that actually fishes for sharks at shark bay.... its the complete opposite, everyone tries to get away from them there.

Doesn't he live in Gero these days? Not even a Shark Bay local.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Shark tours
Heard he has some shark tours where you have paddle boards to see sharks in shallow waters of around the eat side of Cape Peron / Herald Bight.
Went to a film night he organised while I was living in Shark Bay, he got up before the film started and started sprouting off about his green credentials and why he had helped Attenborough with the filming, I had enough of that so got up and walked out while he was still talking, enough was enough.

Genie is out of the bottle now, fisheries minister set a precedent pandering to a local council.

Much like all of the maimed road kill that was put around the machinery when Roe 8 works were taking place.

Interesting as to how they
Interesting as to how they can check if your using wire if your line is in the water fisheries may have the power to make you bring it in to check but doubt if a ranger could and if it's not in the water you wouldn't be fishing with it. I think as usual they just hope people will do what THEY think is the right thing haha fuck that and them.

So people have been flockng to MM to see the dolphins for 50 years. When I was a kid you could swim with them all day, people could also fish from the beach right in front of the caravan park. No ne has ever been attacked, let alone killed by a shark there, but suddenly this flog Deuchamps is making out its the biggest risk in the world. It's surprising that having lived in Shark Bay he's still alive given what a huge risk sharks pose to human life there.
Have dived the Busso Jetty many times, never seen anything that even looks like a shark, unlike most other places these days.
Enough is enough.
