Shame the dash isn't a touch wider to fit them side by side. Should be heaps of room and lots of guys these days want big screens, would have thought it would be a priority for their designers
It would cut out a fair bit of your view when sitting in the captians chair i imagine. Isaac (@ all boats) managed to get it delivered to them with only the switches and steering wheel cutouts. we are going to try and get the HDS10 flush mounted, but set it lower than your one. But that means will end up putting the 2 gauges on either side (No anchor winch controls on dash) and the trim tab controll up in the top right corner i think.. then mount the NSS12 on a bracket above the lowrance HDS.
Looking at how high the sounder sits has got me thinking i might run out of room with this ideas thou :-/
Yeah, I guess we are all clever in hindsight and I have to live with it now but the fact is you cant see bugger all out of the centre window sitting down and still limited to a certain degree standing up. Not the end of the world but it could have been a lot better. By the way it was fitted at the same dealer!!
im glad you took the time to post the pictures for sure!!
How did you find the workman ship at the dealer? the parts that i looked at on the demo boat i took for a run were that they took their time to do the job properly the first time. Interesting to see if they do that all the time, or just on the boats they use to advertise.
