Season starts noon tomorrow..
anyone giving it a crack this season?
Only got these 3 in last years maiden trip, so hoping to get down there a few more times and bag out this year. Now just gotta make a new snare..
Probably be down harvey way early next week to hopefully avoid the crowds!

Marron
Nice start, here's hoping that you go two better this season. I have a feeling the wind and the moon will keep a few people away for a week or so.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.

Live out in Leinster now so was hoping to head over to the Hutt River for a go but the missus isn't too keen on me driving 750km for 5 marron. All the best to the guys who are heading out this season. Look forward to seeing some pics

I'll be exploring some river
I'll be exploring some river spots with how the moon is looking this weekend. May use Harvey as a backup location if I get no results on the river.

Don't need a river to get
Don't need a river to get into some big marron... just a few chook pellets, a snare and some quiet shoes

The CO on their number plates stands for crustacean offenders.

warning here dale
warning dale never never say that if you are in Collie , or the locals might take you on a marron fishing trip where you end up as the bait haha . Collie boys are very proud of their little town and as a NW boy I found they are pretty tough as well, for the couple of years I lived there they accepted me as they realized I was a country boy also even if I was from the other end of the state

I've seen cars from Collie get police searched like no other because they have Collie license plates.

Black crabs
And they justify it by just calling them black crabs out of season.

Apparently you can only catch
Apparently you can only catch a marron with a snare, whilst on your left leg, looking down at a 35 degree angle and facing in WSW direction on a 5.4kn wind
