dont need a 4X4 to catch
dont need a 4X4 to catch barra up here, helps to reduce amount of walking, also depends if you just want to catch saltwater or freshwater fish

i can't help with the Hedland
i can't help with the Hedland area, i'd say it'll just be perserverance. fish the change of the tide on the low, live bait and probably at night if you can as they seem to be active in the dark.

Redbank holds lots of mullet
Redbank holds lots of mullet but haven't heard of people getting much in the way of fish on rod and reel, have you tried 6 mile?, just watch out for the mud gecko (croc) that has been sighted around of late
