Battery Recommendations

One of my Odyssey batteries died on me, much to my surprise, so looking for a replacement. Need at least 800CCA and would prefer maintenance free, so I don 't have to top up the battery water. What do you folks recommend?

They are the same and AGM.
They are the same and AGM. Haven't set them up for accessories and cranking yet, guess it's time as I have the bits.

On this topic, I have a 30 yamaha, running a vhf and 27 meg, and will be putting in a new sounder from my old b/w job to a navman 4600 and 600 transduecer, is it advisable to upgrade the battery with the increased drain required to run the new unit?

Manual Start
No sparky myself but I reckon the existing size small car battery should be fine Adam.
Your only running those electronics from the battery as its a manual start donk. Every time you run somewhere its getting topped up.

We've got heavy duty marine $170-$200
sealed and it runs the sounder/radio/gps, never had any trouble with batteries expensive but worth the money, every two yrs Bob buys a new one and the old one goes on the boat winch.
Don't know the name of battery but cost $180
