store is a joke half the shelves are empty and that is the bits and pieces that are actually worth buying. Don't know why they can't do a stocktake and replace what has been sold!

Went and had a look cos that would now be the closest shop 2 me
Usual story with bcf stores.
Packed full of gear but most of it cheaper quality items
In saying that it does fit the market they are going for.
Will come in handy at super special times but other than that I will be sticking to bluewater myself
The free sausage sizzle was bloody good though!!!

Why cant they build one in Port Hedland? So many people fish/own boats up there, not to mention camping. If they have trouble finding staff...Im up for a job there..lol

Went to the new BCF today, as I live in Ballas, its only half a normal store! Still has enough range of the usuall consumables, bloody good to finally have somewhere close to home to get supplies. BW in Morley is my go to place for that and everthing else tho.

There is a bit going on here. OK so we all have opinions I guess. I browse and shop and that can be anywhere. If I want advice I will go to my local store and ask them. They know me and will not talk shit because they know what I am talking about (I think LOL). If I need "consumables" such as plugs and plastics I will shop around. Big buys, I will always support those who give me advice over time. Bait etc. I will always buy at my local.
If I need a rod tip replaced will the big retailers do it? If I need a warranty repair will they look after me or is the clerk just going to flogg me off? If I ask the clerk where the fish are biting will he really know or just ask me for my PIN number so I can get the F out of his life?
It's all about presence and cost IMO. If worst comes to the worst I will shop online. That is of course on the understanding that I know what I want to buy. In those situations I am stuck with analysing info that guys post here. All in all LOL it comes back to what's important to you.

there stock is usually crap there prices are high and the service is sh*te! support your tackle stores
