B'Day Pressies
Submitted by Andy Mac on Thu, 2007-02-15 21:05
Got Birthday pressies tonight...
A Shimano Spheros 6000FA spooled with 30lb Cajun Braid. (Watch out metro offshore tailor)
A diamond steel to keep my filleting knives sharp.
A new Rapala electronic scale 25kg (The boga grips scales are stuffed now)
and a book on the life of David Beckham (believe it or not he used to play for spurs.)
Plus an assortment of other goodies.
Not a bad haul for an old coot.
Just need some thoughts on what rod to match it to if I want to cast poppers and small metal lures at metro offshore tailor.
C'mon you tackle junkies give me some ideas.

Happy Birthday Andy. Hope you had a good day. You got some good pressies there.
Going to have to show the missus your list as I had mine a couple of days ago and got bugger all in comparison. Very Jealous.

Happy bday dude! Check out
Happy bday dude! Check out the new rapala braid concept spin sticks, inpressed me on a couple of denmark salmon. But you cant go past the 7'6 nitros or t-curve spin 7'6s they are awsome in my point of view. Great for chucking poppers and slices out of the boat, check em out.
Keep it tight, reeeeeeel tight!

i would recommend a Shimano King mack spin...7ft 8-12kg!! perfect for chucking poppers up north
or there is the shimano bluewater 702 spin another good popper rod
prob be a bit short for the beach..but u still could cast 40-60gm metals off the beach for tailor n salmon
