Best Carpet or nonskid

Still tossing up the best choice for my Voyayger Ghia floor. I was going for Kwick Grip from Whitworths and the grey colour is bit light and lots of sanding. Then thought mabe carpet would be easier and have looked at ribed carpet from

$42 per meter at Bunnings and dont know if it will last and is any good. The other end of the scale is $70 per meter at whitworths. Anybody done the same or has advise much appreciated.

Kiwi grip on my yacht is good stuff..:) Yes there is work involved in getting it down properly . Put cheep cheep carpet in my centre console five years ago , had a bit of shrinkage ( Seinfeld!) apart from that it's still looking and smelling mighty fine. All depends how much blood n guts or booze cruising you intend to do , carpet is way way nicer underfoot for fishing . On the flip side I've never seen a yacht with a carpet deck !

Hey I bought Flotex from a local place. its not specifically marine carpet but is used in commercial areas "aged homes" wet areas. has held up fantastically.
just looked and I put it in in 2012 and is still new looking.
I take it out for the big trips north but while metro it's always in. Hose and wash out squid ink and fish blood etc.
