Vexed 220g pink white works for me.
I've only been slow jigging for about 12 months now, so I haven't tried a great deal of different jigs (probably less than 10).
But my favourite so far is a Vexed 220g pink white striped.
Last year, prior to a trip to the Monties, the lads at 2Oceans Tackle in Busselton pointed me towards some cheap Vexed jigs they had on sale.
So I grabbed a few of them. On the last day of the Monties trip, when the bite was fairly quiet I finally decided to give this slow jigging a go.
For the next couple of hours I don't think my jigs were on the bottom for more than 3 or 4 slow lift and drops before getting belted by a variety of fish.
So, I was suddenly and surprisingly hooked on slow jigging and have been giving it a good go back down in Busselton (and a couple of trips out of Two Rocks).
So far, I can report that some days the jig catches best, other days the baits do better, but generally I prefer the slow jig when it's calmer and a slow drift.
I reckon I've caught close to 50 Dhuies on my favourite Vexed jig, up to 12kg (no real big fellas, but probably 30+ sized 50cm and up).
Also caught Pinkies, Blue Fin Tuna, Sambo, Skippy, etc... while targeting Dhuie's (Gurnards and Cuttlefish especially like them too).
NB: To be fair, I've also caught Dhuies on a 150g China ebay cheapie which cost about $3 (lure only, assist hooks extra, and looked much like a Damiki backdrop).
The September copy of Fishing Monthly (Western Australia) has a picture of Paul Willis with a Dhuie caught by a 160g version of my favourite Vexed model (& same colour).
Don't quote me, but I think Paul is the local Perth dude that makes the Vexed jigs.

Lost my IMA in orange to a dirty Sambo last trip out. Sad day it has caught multiple Dhus, a 12 kg Blue Groper, SBT and managed to get it back from a few Sambos too, until last trip.

If your going to the monties, the cheapest bloody possible Haha. I tend to go by colour over anything else, and get a fair amount of satisfaction working what looks to me like a crap jig. I also only use slow fall jigs.
