Usually if its E or SE its not too bad, S and SW is usually shit. Anything from North can be a problem because its unpredicatable. Also got to remember swell, last year I went for a week in May and it blew every morning then dropped off in arvo, it was low swell so still got out every day.
Bring on April

Agree with Simo on the
Agree with Simo on the winds..just been up there, we lucked in with great weather. If ur boat is decent size, really anything under 2.5 m swell upto 20 knots is fishable, just a little uncomfortable. We did very well, however sharks where as bad as any previous year under 100m...but out deep we had great sucess. ANything NOrth will be an absolute mill pond OR 20 knots more than they forecast. FYI- we found Meteye to be the absolute spot on with CB for the 2 weeks we where there-to the hr almost to be honest...have a great trip, my countdown is on till next year...10 months 3 weeks till 4 weeks of heaven !!
