Big brassy trev
Went down to the bank for some r and r . Wasn't too much going on other than the usual whiting and small sharks . About an hour before high tide I did a bait check on both rods . Livies were no longer living . Fresh poddy mullet on one rod and a gardie on the other. About 10minutes later the mullet got taken with line screaming off tho old Shakespeare, looked at the other rod and it was going off as well. (Usual all or nothing ) As I had lighter line on the Shakespeare I chose to stay with that. As I looked out I saw a Queenie jumping and thaught oh well if it get off no loss. After about 15 minutes back and forth with lines crossing I got the big brassy on the beach and as I was untangling the lines the Queenie went nuts again so landed that one as well. Got my feed of whiting and a nice lizard as well . Great feeds on the way . The brassy was around the 12 to 13 kg range so it's another p b for me

Stayed with Darryl Hitchen
Stayed with Darryl Hitchen on Long Island when he ran a charter operation there. He used to cook up queenies in batter as fish and chips complete with pickled onions! Bloody good feed.
Great bag as always Russ!
