Big Dhue

First time poster long time reader...
Caught this Dhuie out on the second bank at Jurien a few weeks back didnt have any scales on the boat so not sure on the weight but it was 104cm long.
Felt pretty bad as we tried to get it back in the water but from 60m it wasnt in a healthy shape when i got it on board. Definately the biggest dhue I have ever caught. I was thinking 20-22kg?

The one macca85 pulled up,
The one macca85 pulled up, "fanky dhu" was 108cm long and only weighed 18.5kg so you might find it was under 20kg... Either way nice fish!

Top dhu mate shame you could,t get it back down .I have tagged and caught a few that length and they were around 18kg good fish all the same .

I got it on nice fresh piece
I got it on nice fresh piece of wrasse fillet on hardly any drift was very happy to catch such a good fish we got another one at the same spot that was 60cm but looked like a midget compared to this, it's head seemed to big for it's body! definately stoked and appreciate how rare it is to catch one that size biggest before that was 65cm.
