I hate every time I go in there.. No customer service just lucky for them I know what I want. It's 100% a convenience thing, I wish Oceanside was just that little bit closer!!!

Nice fish Ben, I've been trying (not too hard) to get onto some whiting on surface lures but not having too much luck lately.  What sort of depth you fishing? Super shallow or do they come up from a reasonable depth to grab the lure?

The 2 hook up's came from

Tue, 2012-03-06 06:50

The 2 hook up's came from about knee high water, I sight casted alot of fish in shallower and they did not seem interested but I think there are a number of factors in play.

The was tide low and I think the 65mm splasher was on the large side for the size of fish.

Knee deep water is about

Knee deep water is about right. Get your hands on a couple of the clear River2Sea bubble pops Ben. They're cracker whiting lures, as are the Bassday crystal poppers, but they'll probably cost more than the Sebiles. Good lure though.

I reckon I probably am. It's pretty rare that I come across any other Garrett's.

Which is not a bad thing.
