Got out for a fish in some nice conditions. Great feed of fish for the family down in perth apart from the trout. Also had plenty of whales about which was great to see .

Nice bag Russ, mate I'm
Nice bag Russ, mate I'm curious of the rigs you are running. I've seen a lot of Trout caught recently using a running ball sinker, is that what you're using?

Just using the basic
Just using the basic paternoster double hook. Double and triple headers aren't uncommon up here where we fish. Double big blacks gets the reel screaming

Use any rig except what I
Use any rig except what I use Andy! A legal sized trout is my bogey fish and I've only caught small ones. Even caught one on saltwater fly once but just under. I've caught my share of fish and heaps of different species but not a blooody trout! Next trip north I'm not coming home unless I get one.

Same Dave, I've caught
Same Dave, I've caught plenty of Coronation but yet to get an actual Coral Trout. I've seen some rippers caught at Gnaraloo so I'm trying to crack the code.

Yet some people seem to
Yet some people seem to catch them easily Andy. I was on a boat in the Dampier Archipelago years ago and they were catching good trout on one side and the two of us on the other side nothing. I think I'm jinxed!
