2011 Fishwrecked AFL Tipping Competition
$30 to play
$10 prize for each round
Prize Money (Overall Top Three)
1st – 60% of cash float
2nd – 30% of cash float
3rd – 10% of cash float
Last place – Ridicule and maybe a wooden spoon.
Rules and Regulations
· Each round to be tipped by cutoff time on Oztips on day of first game
· Tip eight winners
· 'Draws’ can be tipped but are only worth one.
· Tip margin of FIRST game of the round (determines round winner)
· If you forget to tip, you get the equal lowest tipped score for that round
· Tip online at 'www.oztips.com', register in the FW comp first
· Big John’s tips are locked, same as everyone else when the cutoff time is reached
· Cash due by start of comp – March 24th. No pay, no play.
· Round winners will be paid via netbank
· PM your email address to big john so he can email you the oztip comp number and password + big john’s bank account details to deposit your $30
· Weekly results available on the oztips site Monday mornings
· Minimum of 20 tippers required.
If there is a two way tie for first overall, they will split the first and second place prize money. 2nd place will get the 3rd place prize money. 3rd overall will get nothing.
Only the top three people will get prize money at the end of the season!

Just because the Eagles are going to go crap again this year doesn't mean you weagirl fans can't get on board. Footy tipping is different to barracking.

Thanks to a great idea from Tiimmbo, I've set up an online comp at www.oztips.com.
This will streamline the process a bit and alleviate any concerns of dodgy dealings (if you had any), and all tips will be 'locked' 5 minutes before the first game.
You can get an email reminder before each round if you have forgotton to tip.
If your going on holiday, you can also tip in advance.
You can 'tip a draw' but there is no bonus points for doing so.
The entrance fee and prize percentages will remain the same, and will be distributed via netbank by Big John. Fee must be paid to Big John before the first round - March 24th.
I will email the comp number and password to all participants this evening, you will need to register at the site first and then join 'Big John's Fishwrecked Competition'.

OK. count me in Big John. It's been a few years since I've been in a tipping comp but what the heck. You might have to change your signature though mate. "LOL, No prizes for second place." Are you trying to trick us all into thinking there is actually a second place prize but that little disclaimer on your sig. means you get to keep it yourself??? LOL.
Just checking though - The weekly winner - Do you have to tip 8 to win the round or is it just whoever gets the most tips for that round with the points margin to determine the winner if there is more than one person with the most tips?

Round winner
Most tips each round with a margin for the first game to discriminate if two people have same score. Straight tipping, no jackpots or knockout wazzbat.
The only difference to the initial rules posted up top is that you can tip a draw and I won't have to post my tips beforehand as they will be 'automatically' locked in online 5 minutes before the first game, just like everyone else.
