big swan bream :)

Been targeting mainly flatties recently, and have been missing the bream. so today me and a mate took the yaks out to try redeem our selves in the bream fishing department since we hadn't targeted them in a while.

Fished lower reaches for a change

We hit up some of my spots in the yaks, and were rewarded well

Ended up fishing for 3 hours, landing 2 skippy, 3 flatties and 17 bream all up

in that, we managed 3 bream over 40cm fork, biggest falling to me at 46cm to the fork!! about 50cm tip :)

Pictures to come soon.

Cheers, tom

I don't Like blanking them out, but i have had to because I have shared a couple of my spots which used to produce fish like these regularly but now they are all fished out and often have Baitos fishing them and not producing any fish anymore

Nice fish mate. They are awful dark for fish from lower down the river. Perhaps you were a bit further up than your letting on??? Can't blame you for that though, I don't like to share my spots either, even though they most likely get fished pretty hard already.

Nice fish! Why do all the hard

Nice fish!

Why do all the hard earned scouting and then share it with baitos that will kill your spot? I'd keep it quiet.
