great fun. never tried, gave it a go..they piss on light tackle .lost a fair few ,caught some big ones..yak got towed a few times,43cm biggest one,

nice catches, that part of the river has some monsters, not too many people fish up there compared to further down. Caught my pb of 44cm on ham up there.
Fishing and catching are two different things. But i want to learn how to catch.

Solid fish, not bad for a first time. Bigger than any bream I've ever caught.
Has a big thick tail, would've been a heap of power generated from it.

Top catch, I've yakked that stretch myself with softies and haven't done that well. I've heard a whisper of a few mulla caught there as well.
