Blackies In The Swan

just head out this morning (6am super low tide with no much water movement) to our new spot and caught my first ever legal size black bream :D (though it was bare min 25cm and abit)

had another big huge bites though lost them as i was helping a mate rebait >.>

good job mate, always great to get a first legal fish,and done well with the very low tides we are getting atm, now bigger ones will come along

Onwards and upwards from there.
See if you can get hold of some of the little black rock crabs that hide under the rocks in the Swan. They will help you catch the big ones.

those crabs are they all around the swan ? i live in east perth i know there alot of limestone rocks around the bank

You will normally find them under rocks sitting in

shallow water on or near the edge all around the Swan. They are pretty small, but put them on whole and they usually work a treat.

I have to say it wasnt that bad but before the sun went up it was DAM COLD even with my triple layers of clothing.

i might go later after i finish work (4am) if there no rain
