Willy weather seems to be the most accurate lately. The upper Swan was like glass this morning until the wind came ripping in around 10 just as the tide started getting the bream on the bite.

Yep

Yep, even fishing the upper swan this year has not been easy. Every one thinks i fish areas because the fish are there, no its been all about finding a spot out of the strong winds.

Every time the tides, sunset or sunrise line up for a good chance at the bream, the weather turns stupid.

Tell me about it, I've taken to trolling the ready flats with the lecky motor when the wind cranks up the last three visits as I am getting blown about the place trying to fish into the snags and spending more effort on keeping the dinghy straight than fishing. As it turns out it's a very effective way of catching bream... and grunters.

Leave the boat at home & do

Leave the boat at home & do some landbased fishing. Always somewhere to fish that's comfortable & will produce no matter what the wind is doing.

Honestly, complaining about easterlies when there's a 2m swell & there's all this magnificent coastline to fish from. Dunno what's wrong with some people.

Remind anybody...
