Haha yeah tricky fish to gaff they def like to go mental backflipping and somersaulting off the gaff was lucky to get that one in the boat!!

Had the go pro mounted underneath the flybridge for the Marlin - the view from up higher again on top of the flybridge is epic! I always head home with some serious boat envy everytime I get out for a fish with Josh from Onstrike haha. Off to Montebellos for a week on that same boat in September, cant wait!
Not sure what lb line I had for the Spaniard fight but was using a Saltiga Dogfight and hooked it with a live bait. The Blue Marlin was 30lb mono with a Stella spin reel, that was a hell of a fight!!

Yeah have been out with Onstrike about 7 or so times now over the last few years for 2 - 4 days each time.
Josh always puts us on some cracking fish with plenty of action so decided to start filming some of it - have missed some epic stuff over the years so got a GoPro to mount on the back deck. Off to the Monte's with Josh and Jae in early September so hopefully get some good footage diving and fishing out there, hoping for a monster GT!
